The 22nd edition of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) popularly termed as the "Oscars of the Watch industry" has enlisted the Expertise of the Nigerian Entrepreneur Deremi Ajidahun as member of its Grand Jury consisting of 30 personalities from the world of watchmaking and the arts to determine the 2022 GPHG awards prize list.

Reacting to his nomination, Mr Ajidahun shared that he is “Honoured and Proud to be nominated to this most prestigious GPHG Jury Panel with such great Luminaries that inspire our entire industry, it is also an incredible feeling to represent the motherland"

A total of 84 watches and 6 clocks (divided into 15 categories) are in the running to win one of the 20 prizes that will be awarded to the year’s finest watchmaking creations, including the prestigious Aiguille d’Or “Grand Prix” best-in-show award.
The winners will be announced on Thursday 10 November during the 2022 awards ceremony, which will take place at the Théâtre du Léman in Geneva.
